About Marianne Burton and Martumili Artists

Marianne Burton is associated with Martumili Artists in Western Australia. Martumili Artists was established by Martu people from communities including Parnpajinya, Jigalong, Parnngurr, Punmu, Kunawarritji, Irrungadji and Warralong.

Martu artists and their families are traditional custodians of extensive areas across the Great Sandy, Little Sandy and Gibson Deserts, as well as the Karlamilyi region. Martumili Artists supports artists in sharing their work and maintaining connections with Country, culture and community.
