About Wendy Nungarrayi Brown

Wendy Nungarrayi Brown is a Warlpiri artist from Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. She comes from a family of renowned founding artists and continues to paint Dreaming stories, or Jukurrpa, passed down through her family.

Her work particularly focuses on Seven Sisters and Ngapa (Water) Dreamings. These subjects form an important part of her artistic practice and connection to Country.
