Artwork: This painting depicts the vegetation that flourishes after the rains – which is an important food source for the local aboriginal people. The women and children go out in the field to collect berries and edible plants for the corroboree to celebrate the end of the drought and the regeneration of the land.

“I paint stories about the Dreamtime, myths, Aboriginal survival, land, animals and waterways. I use rich vivid colours, earth tones and traditional style to tell the stories of the Dreamtime, my country and my clan. The dots represent the connection to other Aboriginal groups within the nation.
