Belinda was born in Alice Springs in 1988 and grew up in Boundary Bore. Belinda is the daughter of Margaret Golder and Sammy Petyarre (deceased).
Belinda commenced painting when she was in her twenties under guidance of her grandmother, Polly Ngale. Belinda also learnt to paint by her sister, Janet Golder.
Belinda has two children (boy and girl). They live in the boundary Bore, Gillen Bore and sometimes in Alice Springs
